Our Community Promise

Marchaa is a family-friendly marketplace. Every rule here exists to protect children, parents, and the trust that makes our community work. Please read and respect these rules — they apply to everyone.

Rule 1: Be Honest

Describe your items accurately. Include real photos. State the actual condition — whether new, like new, good, fair, or worn. Honesty builds the reputation that earns you more sales.

Rule 2: Be Respectful

Communicate with kindness. Disagreements happen — resolve them politely. Personal attacks, harassment, or bullying of any kind will result in immediate account suspension.

Rule 3: Protect Privacy

Do not share personal contact information (phone numbers, home addresses) publicly in listings or public messages. Use Marchaa's secure messaging until both parties are comfortable.

Rule 4: No Dangerous Items

Do not list recalled products, broken electronics, items with sharp edges lacking safety covers, or anything that poses a risk to children. When in doubt, don't list it.

Rule 5: No Counterfeits

Do not sell fake or counterfeit products, including bootleg games, unlicensed merchandise, or pirated materials.

Rule 6: Fair Pricing

Price items fairly. Price gouging popular children's items during shortages is prohibited. Listings flagged for excessive pricing will be reviewed.

Rule 7: Complete Your Commitments

If you agree to sell or buy something, follow through. Repeatedly backing out of agreed transactions may result in account restrictions.

Rule 8: Report, Don't Retaliate

If you see a rule violation, report it using the Report button. Do not confront the user publicly or leave retaliatory reviews. Our moderation team will handle it.

Consequences

Minor violations result in warnings. Repeated or serious violations result in listing removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates our community standards.
